According to one online community, the worst things people have found in restaurant food have caused them to send it back.
1. A large metal bolt in the winding
A patron of a local restaurant chain was halfway through a package of buffalo chicken when he bit down on a large metal bolt. Worst of all, they chipped their teeth and turned it into an expensive buffalo chicken wrap.
2. Frog corpse in salad
In the university cafeteria, one of the students found half a frog in their salad. Another student saw the other half in his salad. Apparently, this is not unusual in bagged lettuce.
3. The dressing used in their guacamole
A customer found a bandage in her guacamole with blood on it. They discovered the bandage only after a few spoonfuls of guacamole.
4. Tooth in hamburger
Someone found a tooth in their hamburger and was too afraid to ask the waiter about it. They dropped the burgers and ran out of the restaurant.
5. Earrings in two milkshakes
Someone found a stud earring in their first milkshake and on another occasion a hoop earring in a restaurant. They said they would never go back to that restaurant again even if it was their only choice.
6. Latex gloves on a cream cheese baguette
One person was eating a baguette with cream cheese while hiking and didn’t feel the latex glove biting his finger. They struggled to chew the glove for a moment before removing it from their mouths.
7. Raw chicken wing
On her birthday, a lady bit into a completely raw chicken wing while eating a basket of buffalo chicken wings. Her (now ex) husband said it sucked as he continued to dig into his food. It’s safe to say you’ll never eat chicken wings again.
8. A rat snake in a can of green beans
One unlucky person opened a can of green beans and found a dead rat snake in the can. After inquiring, someone from the bean company theorized that the snake slithered into the open can before filling it with beans and water.
9. A giant fly in his salad
A customer was eating a salad when he turned over a piece of lettuce and found a giant fly that looked like a mosquito. Maybe they had a couple of rude words with the waiter.
10. Hairball on pizza
A family ordered a pizza from a local pizza place, and upon opening the box, they found a giant wad of hair on the pizza. The family chose not to eat dinner that night.
11. Bubble gum in a basket of chips
Two brothers were sharing a basket of chips and salsa at a Mexican restaurant. They enjoyed it so much that when one of the siblings saw a pack full of chewed gum, they ordered a refill. They discovered that the restaurant had not changed the wax paper on the bottom of the chip basket before serving the basket to them.
12. Human hair in a chocolate ball
Biting into a white Lindt chocolate ball, he saw half a human hair sticking out of the creamy chocolate center. They sent pictures of the hair to the manufacturer, who sent them more chocolate to compensate.
13. Eye patch in their salad
A customer found an eye patch while eating a salad in a restaurant. They asked the chef, who swore they didn’t know how it got into the salad.
14. Taking a bite out of a sausage patty
One ordered a sandwich for breakfast. After opening their sandwiches, they found a bite of a sausage patty. They showed the bite mark to the waiter, who said it wasn’t a bite mark, but a piece of meatball that had just come off.
